Chris Neils

Director

Chris Neils is a Director with Whipstitch Capital. Prior to joining Whipstitch, Chris held roles at Raymond James, Harris Williams, and MHT Partners. He has spent his entire investment banking career in the consumer sector and has helped execute a number of M&A transactions for private equity and founders across the food, apparel, enthusiast brands, multi-site, and services sectors. Select relevant prior clients include Jelly Belly, Johnny Was, Marine Max (NYSE: HZO), National Fitness Partners, BOA, Pink Lily, Home Franchise Concepts, Gimbal Brothers, and Frozen Specialties.

A native of San Diego, Chris currently resides in San Francisco with his family. In his free time, Chris can typically be found on the golf course, enjoying the great outdoors of the broader Bay Area, and rooting for his USC Trojans.

Chris received his B.A. in History from the University of Southern California.  He currently holds FINRA Series 79, 63, and 7 licenses.

 

Why it’s personal with Chris

Having spent my career working with a variety of consumer brands, both large and small, I have a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for management teams and founders who have put everything on the line for their companies and employees. Guiding them through such a monumental milestone in their journey as a trusted thought partner, whether it’s an acquisition or raising capital, is something I take great pride in.
