Jill McIntosh
Jill McIntosh is a Senior Partner, Board Director and Governance Chair of Simpactful LLC and currently serves as a Non-executive Director on the Boards of Whisps Acquisition Corp.; Summit Naturals, Inc. (Highkey); Savor Street Foods, Inc.; and E.A. Sween Company and as Board Advisor to Cooperative Regions of Organic Producer Pools (Organic Valley).
Jill served as an executive for The Kroger Co. for 16 years. While at Kroger she held numerous leadership positions for the company. Her most recent assignment was launching Kroger’s first international endeavor, a flagship store on Alibaba’s Tmall platform. Before she was Vice President of Digital, she was the Vice President of Natural Foods Merchandising since March of
2014, where she was responsible for sales of natural and organic products throughout the Kroger family of stores. Before that position, she held the position of Vice President of Human Resources for Fred Meyer Stores, the largest division of Kroger located in Portland, Oregon. She was promoted to Fred Meyer in 2012 and before that she held the position of Senior Director of Human Resources & Labor Relations for the Corporate Brands & Manufacturing division of Kroger at General Office in Cincinnati. She was promoted to that position in 2009 and before that she was Head of Money Services for Kroger Personal Finance, a financial services joint venture. Jill joined KPF in the beginning of 2008 and before that Jill was Corporate Counsel for Kroger. Jill joined Kroger in 2003 when she accepted her role in the law department. Prior to joining Kroger she was a corporate attorney at Keating, Muething and Klekamp (Cincinnati).
Jill currently serves as a board member of Xavier University, Williams College of Business and President of the Mariemont Athletics Booster Board. She led the Cincinnati Chapter of Network of Executive Women (“NextUp”) as Executive Co-Chair from 2012-2021 and served on the board for ProKids of Hamilton County (court appointed special advocates) from 2014 to 2023.
Jill received the Network of Executive Women 2021 Bobbie O’Hare “Best of the Best” Award given to one out of 12,000+ members of the Network of Executive Women at the National Annual Summit for having the most impact on advancing the mission. She was recognized as a Top Woman in Grocery, Senior Level Executive by Progressive Grocer and as a Women of Influence in the Food Industry by Shelby Publishing Co. and its Griffin Report of the Northeast publication. Jill also received an Emerging Business Award from Lead Magazine for leading the tremendous growth of Kroger’s Natural Foods. Jill has spoken at numerous industry events including Network of Executive Women, Expo West -New Hope Media, BevNET and guest speaker on the Dr. Oz Show. She was the visionary of Kroger Town Hall at Expo West, First Pitch for Emerging Brands, Kroger Natural Foods Innovation Summits and The Wellness Experience by Kroger.
